Kevin Monteiro

In 2025, Kevyn Monteiro played his 100th match at Sub-20 level for Red Bull Bragantino — the first player in Brazilian football to reach that mark in the age category, and a club record for youth appearances. The same year ended with a final: Bragantino lost the Brazilian Sub-20 championship decider on penalties.

He came to the club at 13. Before that there was an escolinha in Piracicaba, the town in São Paulo state where he was born, and where he first took up the game between the ages of eight and eleven. In 2018 he joined the academy of Red Bull Brasil, later renamed Red Bull Bragantino, and worked upwards through the youth teams.

The step into the senior side was a narrow one. Monteiro made a single official appearance for Bragantino's first team: on 18 January 2026, in the Paulista A1 against Botafogo-SP, he came off the bench and played eight minutes. He never featured for the senior side in the Série A, the Série B or the Copa do Brasil.

A month later he was in Portugal. Moreirense took the centre-back on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy. The financial terms were not disclosed. He wears number 4.

At 196 cm he is built for the part, and he is right-footed. He has been called up by Brazil at Sub-17 level.
