Kristian Tomov

Kristian Tomov joined Lokomotiv Plovdiv's academy at the age of seven and stayed with the club for sixteen years before his contract ran out. He turned professional there in February 2021 and went on to make 17 appearances for the senior side, featuring in Bulgarian Cup and league play-off matches without collecting a trophy along the way.

That long association ended in the summer of 2025, when Tomov left as a free agent and signed for Cherno More Varna in June. It was a straightforward move, free of the kind of dispute or fee negotiation that often accompanies a transfer, closing one chapter of his career and opening another with a new club.

At international level, Tomov has represented Bulgaria at youth level, earning two caps for the under-19 side. He is listed as a former member of the under-21 setup, though he has not yet made the step up to the senior national team.
