About the player
Luka Mamić arrived at NK Varaždin in August 2024 on a free transfer, his contract at Široki Brijeg having run its course. Two years on he is a fixture in the side: 54 appearances across all competitions, 53 of them starts, and 13 goals. One of those came in UEFA Conference League qualifying against Jablonec.
The route there ran through Split. He spent six years in the Hajduk Split academy, from 2015 to 2021, moving up through the U15, U17 and U19 sides. At 19 he left for NK Solin , and it was there that the goals started: 13 in 57 appearances over two seasons.
