Marlos Moreno Durán

Marlos Moreno came through Atlético Nacional's academy and made his first-team debut in 2014. Within two years he had a league title and a Copa Libertadores medal in hand, having played 13 matches and scored three goals in that continental campaign. That form took him to Manchester City in August 2016.

What followed was nine years abroad.

The international recognition, by contrast, came early and briefly. He was capped for Colombia within a few months of his move to England, scoring on his fifth appearance against Costa Rica, and was part of the squad at the 2016 Copa América Centenario, where Colombia finished third.

In July 2025 Moreno returned to Atlético Nacional, the club where he started. Across his spells there he has made 43 appearances and scored eight goals. The move closed a long loop: he came back nine years later, older and much travelled, to the club that first gave him a shirt.
