About the player
Michał Rosiak spent nine years in Arsenal's academy after arriving in 2016, working his way through the youth ranks as a right-back who could also play in midfield. He signed his first professional contract with the club in April 2023 and went on to make more than 80 appearances for Arsenal's youth sides, scoring 22 goals. He scored the winning goal in the FA Youth Cup semi-final against Cambridge United in February 2023. He was also capped by Poland's under-19 side during qualification for the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Despite that development, he never made a senior league appearance for Arsenal's first team. Rosiak's path changed when he joined Śląsk Wrocław in September 2025 on a deal running to the end of the season, with an option to extend by a further year. He quickly became a regular starter, featuring in more than twenty league matches and scoring four goals. The high point arrived on 17 May 2026, when he scored in an away win over Polonia Bytom that sealed Śląsk Wrocław's promotion to the Ekstraklasa. The club exercised its option on his contract the following spring, extending his stay until the summer of 2027. That extension did not last long in practice. In September 2026, Rosiak left Poland altogether, moving to Eredivisie side FC Twente on a four-year contract in a transfer reported at around one million euros.
