About the player
Michal Sadílek came through the youth ranks at 1.FC Slovácko before PSV Eindhoven picked him up for its academy in 2015, and he made his senior breakthrough there in December 2018, scoring his first professional goal against AZ Alkmaar in the same month he debuted. That season PSV won the Eredivisie, with Sadílek making 11 league appearances and a goal of his own in the title run.
A loan to FC Slovan Liberec in 2020/21 turned into his most productive spell in front of goal: 31 appearances and six goals in a single campaign. FC Twente then took him on loan in August 2021 and made the deal permanent for €1.5 million. He went on to make 90 appearances for the club. In June 2025, Slavia Praha signed him for €3.5 million on a contract running to 2028.
His first international goal came against Montenegro in a 4–1 friendly win. He has also represented his country at a major tournament level, featuring at Euro 2020, and at the 2026 World Cup he scored his second international goal, in a 1–1 draw with South Africa.
