About the player
Chaloupek made his senior debut for Teplice in August 2021 and his league debut that November, but it took until the 2022–23 season for him to become a regular starter. By the time he left, he had made 59 league appearances and scored three goals for the club, and was named Teplice's Player of the Season for 2023–24.
He moved to Slavia Praha in July 2024, for a fee of €1 million plus a sell-on percentage, on a contract running until June 2028. He has settled at the club as a centre-back, winning the Chance Liga title in both the 2024–25 and 2025–26 seasons, and has also turned out for Slavia Prague B in the Czech National Football League. He was named Chance Liga Player of the Month in March and again in May 2026.
Internationally, Chaloupek came through the Czech Republic under-21 side between 2023 and 2025, making 13 appearances and helping the team qualify for the 2025 European Under-21 Championship. His senior international career began on 17 November 2025, when he came on as a substitute in the 68th minute of a 6–0 World Cup qualifying win over Gibraltar. He had earned six senior caps by June 2026.
