About the player
Szekszárdi came through the Paksi FC academy and started his senior career close to home, playing for Paksi FC II in the third-tier NB III across the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons before making his first-team debut for Paksi in 2022/2023. Since then his career has moved in a loop of loans and returns rather than a single settled role at the club.
In January 2023 he went out to Kazincbarcikai SC for the rest of that season, then came back to Paksi and stayed through 2023/2024. A second loan followed in the summer of 2024, this time to Szentlőrinc SE for the full 2024/2025 campaign, where he made 27 league appearances. He returned to Paksi again in the summer of 2025.
The 2025/2026 season saw him make 15 appearances in the NB I, two in the Hungarian Cup and two in Europa Conference League qualifying, with five assists to his name. He was loaned to Diósgyőri VTK for the 2026/2027 season, announced in September 2026.
None of his moves so far have carried a transfer fee — each has been either an academy promotion or a loan — and he has yet to feature for any Hungary national side, senior or youth.
