Nikola Burić

Nikola Burić came through the youth ranks at NK Pregrada before moving into the GNK Dinamo Zagreb academy. He made his senior debut with Dinamo Zagreb II and then spent several years shuttling between NK Rudeš and loan spells at NK Novigrad and NK Kustošija, before a longer stay at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, itself interrupted by a loan back to Rudeš.

In 2021 he left Croatia for Italy, joining FC Legnago Salus on a free transfer. He returned to Legnago for a second spell either side of a season at Novara. Since then he has gone club to club across several countries within a short span: FC Koper in Slovenia, then NK Domžale, then Albanian champions KF Egnatia, all on free transfers.

His clearest run of form came at Egnatia in the 2025/2026 season, where he made 33 appearances in the Albanian Superiore and scored six goals. By contrast, his goal returns at Koper and Domžale were modest — a single goal and an assist in four matches for Domžale, and no goals in eight appearances for Koper.

In July 2026 Burić signed for FC Astana on a free transfer from Egnatia, his first move to Kazakhstan. He is still early into that spell, with only a handful of league appearances recorded so far and no goals or assists yet to his name there.
