Numa Lavanchy

Numa Lavanchy came through the ranks at FC Lausanne-Sport, joining the club's academy in 2007 and working his way through the U16, U18 and U21 sides before breaking into the first team in 2010. He made 49 league appearances and scored six goals for the club, and was part of the squad that won the Swiss Challenge League in the 2010–11 season. A loan spell at Le Mont in 2015–16 brought 18 appearances before he returned to Lausanne-Sport in time to win a second Challenge League title that same season.

A free transfer took him to Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2016, where he spent three seasons and made 76 league appearances, adding four goals. He moved on again in February 2019, joining FC Lugano on another free transfer. It was there that Lavanchy established himself as a regular, making 114 league appearances and scoring nine goals, and he won the Swiss Cup with the club in the 2021–22 season.

Lavanchy joined FC Sion in 2022, once again on a free transfer, passing 140 league appearances for the club. Born in Morges, he represented Switzerland at U17, U18 and U20 level during his youth career, though he has not been capped by the senior national side.
