About the player
Odhran Casey spent his youth days at Newington Youth Club before joining the Cliftonville academy, and it was there, against Glenavon in January 2019, that he made his senior debut.
In January 2026, Casey left for Shelbourne in the League of Ireland Premier Division, for a fee reported to be in excess of €100,000 — a record for a transfer between the Irish leagues, where he now wears the number 16 shirt.
Casey has also stepped up to international football at underage level, earning two caps for Northern Ireland's U21s in March 2024, in matches against Czechia and Serbia. A senior cap has not yet followed.
