Oliver Arblaster

Arblaster came through the Sheffield United academy, joining at the age of six and turning professional in May 2018 before his senior debut in 2021. His development was shaped by two loans away from Bramall Lane: a spell at Bradford (Park Avenue) that was cut short in December 2021 so he could continue his progress with the first-team set-up, and a longer stint at Port Vale, where he made 26 appearances across the league and cup competitions, scored twice and set up two more goals. He was named Port Vale's Player of the Month for August 2023.

Sheffield United recalled him from that loan in December 2023 after he picked up a knee injury against Middlesbrough, bringing him back into the fold under manager Chris Wilder rather than letting the loan run its course. He had already been part of the squad that won promotion to the Premier League in the 2022–23 Championship season, making four league appearances that campaign. His top-flight debut followed in March 2024, a month in which he was also named Sheffield United's Player of the Month.

At international level, Arblaster has represented England at Under-18 and Under-20 level. He scored the winning goal for the Under-18s against Austria in June 2022.
