About the player
Radu Boboc came through the Gheorghe Popescu Football School before moving on to the Gheorghe Hagi Academy, and it was Viitorul Constanța that gave him his senior football. He made 87 league appearances for the club between 2018 and 2021, scoring twice. When Viitorul merged with Farul Constanța, he stayed on and added 26 league matches for the new club.
A move to FCSB followed in 2022 for a fee of €200,000.
In June 2025 Boboc signed a three-year contract with Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza, newly promoted to the Ekstraklasa, with his market value at the time put at around €1.2 million. He made his debut for the club in the Polish Cup, a 4–1 win over Tur Bielsk Podlaski.
At international level, Boboc represented Romania at various youth stages, collecting 16 caps for the U21 side and four for the Olympic team during the 2020 Summer Olympics. He has yet to play for the senior national team.
