Raniele arrived at Corinthians in January 2024 on a five-year deal from Cuiabá, a transfer that cost around €2.5m for 60 per cent of his economic rights, with Cuiabá keeping the remainder and a further €500,000 due if the midfielder played in 60 per cent of his debut season's matches. He repaid that investment quickly, voted the fans' pick as best player on the pitch against Atlético Mineiro in his first campaign at the club and scoring against Botafogo.

His path to Corinthians ran through the lower rungs of Brazilian football. Raniele made his professional debut for Ferroviária in July 2016 and spent four years there, interrupted by loan spells at Taubaté, Penapolense and Portuguesa between 2017 and 2020. He moved to Jacuipense in 2020, again going out on loan, this time to Botafogo-SP and Bahia, before Avaí took him on loan in early 2022 and made the move permanent by the end of that year. A further switch to Cuiabá followed in 2023, setting up the transfer to Corinthians a year later.

At Corinthians he wears the number 14 shirt as a holding midfielder, a role built on positional discipline rather than individual flair. He has not been called up to the Brazil senior national team.
