About the player
Talles Wander made his name at youth level long before his first senior appearance. Across two seasons in São Paulo's Sub-20 side he finished as top scorer both times, with 12 goals in 2022 and 23 in 2023, and he added the top scorer's honours in the 2023 Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 with 16 goals. Seven titles came with São Paulo's junior sides during his time in the academy, which he had joined as a boy in Cotia.
The step up to senior football was brief. He made his professional debut for São Paulo against Fluminense in November 2023, but played only twice for the first team before his path changed direction. A contract signed as a minor opened the door for him to move on a free transfer under FIFA regulations, and in January 2024 he left Brazil altogether, joining AVS in Portugal.
Since then his football has continued mostly away from AVS itself. A loan to Torreense for the 2024–2025 season brought nine appearances and a single goal. He moved on loan again in September 2025, this time to Sanjoanense, where he has found the net far more often — nine goals in 24 appearances so far this season.
