The ground stayed, and in May 2023 a different set of owners moved a second-tier side up from Vila Franca de Xira, renamed it and moved in.

Nené had scored 33 goals in 64 matches across those seasons, and he was still there when the play-off came in 2024: a 2–1 win over Portimonense that took the club into the Primeira Liga. He stayed for the top-flight season too.

Survival in 2024–25 came down to another play-off, against Vizela, and the club finished sixteenth. The following season it finished eighteenth and went down. Zé Luís, who had also come from Vila Franca, scored the winner against Farense during that first fight to stay up.

The ground was rebuilt in 2023 and now holds 6,230.
