About the player
Bernardo Conde's route into professional football ran through Parma's academy rather than a first-team debut. Born in Muret, the defender came through the youth ranks of FC Villiers-le-Bel and AAS Sarcelles before Parma Calcio 1913 brought him into its youth sector in the summer of 2022. He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2023 and went on to captain the Primavera side.
He carried the armband into the following season, adding two more goals for the Under-20 side and leading Parma to the Primavera 1 Scudetto final against Fiorentina in May 2026.
He also came close to a senior breakthrough. During the 2025–2026 campaign he trained with Parma's first team and was named among the substitutes for Serie A fixtures against Fiorentina, Pisa, Bologna, Udinese and Hellas Verona, though the call-ups never turned into an appearance for the club in Serie A or Coppa Italia.
In July 2026, with his development at Parma complete, Conde left Italy for Portugal, joining AVS Futebol SAD on a contract running to 2030. The move ended a four-year stay in which he had risen from a newcomer in Parma's academy to captain of its Under-20 team, without yet featuring for the senior side.
