About the player
Tom de Graaff came through Ajax's academy after joining as a ten-year-old from EVC Edam. He spent two seasons with Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie, making 40 appearances, yet remained part of the senior squad on paper only, without a competitive debut for the club.
The breakthrough came away from Utrecht. He held down the number one shirt for the rest of the campaign and made 31 league appearances.
In April 2026 the club activated the purchase option in his loan deal, tying him down until 2028 with a club option to extend to 2030. The financial terms were not made public.
De Graaff has represented the Netherlands at youth level, appearing for the U18 and U21 sides, though senior international recognition has yet to follow.
