About the player
Geubbels came through the Olympique Lyonnais academy and made his professional debut in September 2017, before AS Monaco signed him the following summer for a fee of around €20 million. In 2021 he was sent out on loan to FC Nantes for a season; Nantes held an option to sign him permanently for €6 million but chose not to take it up.
His career found a different rhythm after a January 2023 free transfer to FC St. Gallen in Switzerland. Over two and a half seasons there he made 95 appearances and scored 30 goals. That form persuaded Paris FC to bring him back to France in August 2025, in a deal reported at around €9 million, and he signed a five-year contract running to 2030.
Geubbels holds dual French and Dutch citizenship and has represented France at every youth level from under-16 to under-19. A year after joining Paris FC, in August 2026, he moved on again, this time to Serie A side US Lecce in a transfer worth €5 million plus add-ons.
