What can be traced begins in earnest in the 2017–18 season, when a second place in the Tweede Divisie carried the side up towards the elite. Two years later, in December 2019, the club was reconstituted as a formal sportvereniging — the paperwork catching up with a team that had already been playing first-division fixtures that April, including one against SV Robinhood.

Robinhood remains the measure of everything Broki does. The two met in the 2026 final, and the history between them adds an edge to fixtures that have not always been close: across the 2025/26 season Robinhood beat Broki 2-0, then 7-0. The title came in the Suriname Major League, a competition launched in February 2024 and which Broki joined from its opening season. It is the club's first championship.

In January 2026 the Brazilian Sérgio Rodrigues took over as head coach, arriving from PVV.

In the group stage of the 2026 CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship, Broki lost to Sando and to Defence Force, both by 1-2, and finished bottom.
