CF Talavera

The Derbi del Tajo against CD Toledo carries the weight in this corner of Castile-La Mancha, and the Gran Derbi with Deportivo Guadalajara pulls the rivalry across the region — two fixtures.

CF Talavera de la Reina came together in 2011 from a merger of CF Talavera and Real Talavera CD, though the city's football goes back further, through CD Ébora and CD San Prudencio. What emerged took the name Los Cerámicos, and settled into blue and white stripes at home.

The club made its mark early in the regional tiers, winning Tercera División Group 18 twice, in 2014–15 and 2016–17, before going one better in 2024–25 with the Segunda Federación Group 5 title. Two Trofeo JCCM wins, in 2021 and 2023, sit alongside those league campaigns.

Talavera plays at the Estadio Municipal El Prado, which holds 5,000.

The name most attached to the club's history is Manu Trigueros, who came through the youth ranks at the predecessor side before building his career at Villarreal. Enrique Morán also wore the shirt, back when the club still played under the Talavera CF banner in the mid-1980s, before going on to represent Spain at international level.
