Damac

Matchdays at Damac split between two grounds. Routine fixtures are played at the club's own stadium in Khamis Mushait, which holds around 5,000, while bigger occasions move north to the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Sports City in Abha, seating 20,000.

Formed in 1972 in the Asir region, the club carries a nickname shaped by its surroundings: Faris Al-Janoub, the Knight of the South, sometimes shortened to Jabal Damac, Mountain of Damac. Red and yellow have stayed the colours throughout.

Damac's honours sit in the lower divisions rather than the Saudi Pro League. The Second Division title came in 1980–81 and again in 2014–15, with runner-up finishes either side of both, in 1989–90 and 2004–05. A second-place finish in the First Division in 2018–19 marked the closest the club has come to the top flight by that route, though the promotion it implies has never quite followed through a title.

Across the mountains from Khamis Mushait lies Abha, and the fixture against Abha FC has grown into the Asir derby.
