The one supporters mark is against SC Fortuna Köln — the Stadtderby.
Viktoria arrived at that rivalry by a long route. The lineage starts with FC Germania Kalk in July 1904. The club was renamed VfR Köln 04 rrh. in 1918 once both districts were absorbed into the city. Under that name the club won the West German championship in 1926.
The ground has outlasted all of it. Capacity now stands at 8,342. Liga requirements, then came back down three years later.
The 2016–17 Regionalliga West title should have brought promotion. They won the division again in 2018–19, by which point promotion was automatic.
The name that carries furthest belongs to Hennes Weisweiler, who coached here between 1958 and 1964 before Borussia Mönchengladbach, Ajax, Bayern and the Belgium national side.
