FK Vozdovac

Jovan Damjanović signed for Voždovac as a midfielder in 2010, stayed two seasons, and later came back through the door as head coach. The club he returned to had already changed its name twice.

It started in 1912 as Dušanovac, formed by students at the local economics gymnasium, with Danilo Stojanović serving as both first president and first coach. The name Voždovački followed in 1929. The one on the shirts now dates only to 1973, when the district handed over the stadium of the dissolved club Sloboda.

The bigger turning point came on 28 June 2005. Železnik, fresh off winning the Serbia and Montenegro Cup that season, folded into financial trouble and merged with Voždovac, which inherited both its place in the top flight and, on paper, that cup. It is the closest thing the club has to a major honour, alongside a Belgrade Football Association Cup won in 1975 under the old name.

In 2013 the club moved into a ground built on the roof of a shopping centre — the Stadion Shopping Center, 5,175 seats. Colours are yellow, black and red; the badge carries the red dragon that gives the team its nickname, the Dragons.

On the pitch, the high point remains third place in the Serbian SuperLiga in 2018/19.
