Fužinar

In the spring of 2017, Fužinar finished third in the 3. SNL and won promotion to the 2. SNL for the first time in its history. The closest it had come before was in 1965–66, when it finished second in the Slovenian Zonal League – East and went into a promotion play-off against Svoboda, losing the tie 4–6 on aggregate.

The club started out in August 1937 as SK Slovan Guštanj, named for the Guštanj district. After the Second World War it was reorganised and took the name ŠD Fužinar, and in the mid-1990s, once Slovenia was independent, it became KNK Fužinar.

Fužinar has also collected three 4. SNL titles, in 1998–99, 2001–02 and 2013–14, along with single wins in the 5. SNL and 6. SNL.
