The record book at HC Galychanka Lviv stopped needing a tiebreaker years ago: since 2015 the club has taken the Ukrainian Women's Handball Superliga every single season, twelve straight titles running through 2026 without interruption.
The club traces back to 1989, when it played under the name Impulse in the Soviet first league before Lviv reshaped it into Galychanka.
Beyond Ukraine, the club reached for the Baltic League and won it twice, in 2018 and 2020, with a bronze finish in between in 2017.
Home games are played at the Palace of Sports "Halychyna," a ground that holds 1,350, with the newer Shuvar Arena used for some fixtures and training.
Twelve league titles in a row leaves the club with a straightforward task each new season: not winning the championship, which has become close to assumed, but keeping the run itself unbroken for one more year.
