Gol Gohar

Promotion to the Persian Gulf Pro League came only once, at the end of the 2018/19 season. The club had gone up to the second division in 2007 as runner-up, then needed the Azadegan League title itself, won in 2019, before Sirjan saw top-flight football for the first time.

The team grew out of the Gol Gohar mining company, which fielded a works side in local competitions from 1987. Ten years later, in 1997, the operation was registered as a proper multi-sport club under the same name, and the mining company has remained the identity behind the shirt since.

Home matches are played at the Shahid Ghasem Soleimani Stadium in Sirjan, known locally also as Imam Ali, in front of 8,000 people. Away supporters know it best for what happens against Mes Rafsanjan: both clubs represent Kerman province, and the fixture is played as the province's derby. The nickname Gol Haye Ziba, "beautiful flowers," is the club's own; supporters more often just call the team by the colour of the shirt.

In the Hazfi Cup the club has reached the semi-final three times, in 2020/21, 2023/24 and 2024/25, without going further. The Persian Gulf Pro League title has never come, and neither has the domestic cup.
