Hebburn Town

Hebburn Town go into the new season in National League North, a division above where they have played their recent history, after topping the Northern Premier League Premier Division in 2025-26. It follows promotion from Division One East two seasons earlier, in 2023-24.

The club began life as a works team for the Reyrolles engineering company, and carried that firm's name until 1986, when it became Hebburn Reyrolles. Only in 2000, once the local industry it was built around had faded, did it take the name Hebburn Town. The FA Vase win of 2019-20 stands above everything else the club has done: the final, delayed to May 2021, ended 3-2 against Consett at Wembley, under Kevin Bolam, who is remembered in Hebburn as the manager who got them there.

Bali Mumba and Jack Diamond both started out at the club before moving into the Sunderland academy and on to professional careers elsewhere.

Home games are played in yellow and black, the colours behind the nickname The Hornets, at a ground on South Drive that holds 1,500, including 500 seated.
