Hwaseong

The city of Hwaseong put its own name and its own colour into a football team in January 2013, and orange has stayed the club's marker ever since.

It won the K3 League Advanced championship in 2014, then took both the regular season and the championship in 2019 — the same year it reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Another regular-season title followed in 2023, and in 2024 the side finished runner-up over the regular campaign.

In December 2024 it voted to turn professional, and from the 2025 season Hwaseong entered K League 2, the country's second division. Cha Du-ri, capped by South Korea as a player, took the job as the first head coach of the professional era.

Home is Hwaseong Sports Town. The organised support goes under the name Orange Shouting, with a wider supporters' community called Orange Village.

The first professional season ended tenth.
