Nykøbing Falster and Odense are the names that matter most on the Tigrene's calendar.

The club itself is barely a decade past its own creation: it took over Frederiksberg IF's league licence in February 2013, filling the gap left when FCK Håndbold folded, and stepped straight into the top flight for the 2013–14 season under owner Kim Mikkelsen. The club had missed by one place the season before, when it finished runner-up in both the league and the Danish Cup.

Stine Jørgensen carried that scoring habit further afield, finishing as the league's top scorer in the 2022–23 season. In Europe, appearances in the EHF Champions League and EHF European League have not yet produced a continental trophy.
