Rēzekne FA

Rēzekne sits in Latgale, in Latvia's east. The club that plays there now started in 2011 as a schools-and-youth side, FK Rēzekne/BJSS, and before a reorganisation in 2015 turned it into Rēzeknes FA/BJSS.

It has never won a league title or a cup. What it has done is stay in the 1. Liga, the second tier, and finish sixth twice — in 2015, the first season under the new name, and again in 2019.

The cup has given it its longest runs. In 2024 the club got to the fourth round and was beaten 1–5 by AFA Olaine; it went out in the second.

He began in the youth setup at SK Blāzma Rēzekne, went on to play for the Latvian national team, and came back to play for Rēzeknes FA/BJSS. Guntars Silagailis, a captain here, arrived having played Virslīga football for FK Rīga and FC Daugava.

There is no derby with a name.

The team plays in blue at home, in yellow-green away. Before moving to the artificial pitch at the Olympic centre it used the RPD Sporta pārvaldes stadions, which held 1,000. The current ground holds 960.
