Joe Gauci came through the academy at Jack Smith Park before Adelaide United and the Australia squad; so did Austin Ayoubi, who played for the senior side in 2022 and again in 2026, whose father chairs the club.
The two State League 1 premierships since — 2021 and 2024 — came after a spell in the Adelaide Galaxy competition, where the club took the league in 2002 and 2005 and the Federation Cup in the first of those years.
Ryan Kitto scored 17 in a single NPL South Australia season in 2015 and went on to captain Adelaide United. Jack Smith Park holds 3,000, and the club moves between State League 1 and the NPL rather than settling in either.
