About the player
He arrived from Calahorra in June 2022 and helped the club win promotion to the Segunda División in the 2022–23 season.
He passed through Helios and Stadium Casablanca before joining the Real Zaragoza youth setup in 2017, and made his senior debut for the club's B team that September. He played 65 times for that side and scored 14 goals. Spells at SD Ejea and CD Calahorra followed, and at Calahorra he scored 11 times in 37 appearances.
Deportivo Alavés signed him in December 2023 for a reported €600,000. Over three seasons he made 76 league appearances and scored 12 goals, working as a midfielder or winger. He has also been capped by Spain at Under-21 level.
On 27 January 2026 he joined Birmingham City in the Championship on a three-and-a-half-year contract. The deal was worth a base of €8 million, with a further €2 million in add-ons, roughly £7 million. By April he had played 13 games for the club and scored three goals.
