About the player
Lucas Haren spent most of his career at Hellerup IK through two separate spells and a brief detour to Randers FC. He found his footing at Fremad Amager, where 17 goals in 76 appearances marked a significant period in his development.
The real breakthrough came at Kongsvinger IL, which he joined in February 2024. During the 2025 OBOS-ligaen campaign he scored 31 goals in 56 appearances, finishing as the division's joint top scorer alongside Lehne Olsen. He earned Player of the Month honours in April and again in June/July, and by the end of the season he had been named both Kongsvinger's own Player of the Year and the league's Player of the Year.
That form persuaded Vålerenga to move for him on a free transfer in October 2025, with Haren signing a contract running to the end of December 2028 ahead of the 2026 season. He has already made 19 appearances and scored 8 goals for the club. Danish by birth and raised through FC Nordsjælland's academy after starting out at HIK, he represented Denmark at U17 and U19 level but has not featured for the senior national side.
