About the player
Górnik Zabrze agreed to sign Patryk Warczak on 26 January 2026, five months before the contract took effect on 1 July. The right-back arrived on a free transfer after three seasons at Stal Rzeszów. He has played four times for his new club so far.
Warczak comes from Kraków, and the city's clubs shaped his early career. He began at AP 21 Kraków in 2011. In 2016 he moved to the academy of Wisła Kraków, where he stayed until 2021.
His first senior football came away from Wisła. In July 2021 he went to Garbarnia Kraków on loan and made his debut there. His time at Garbarnia ran until June 2023, and he played 44 matches and scored five goals.
In July 2023 he joined Stal Rzeszów on a free transfer. Over three seasons he played 107 matches and scored twice. That was the longest spell of his career before Górnik.
He has also played for Poland's youth teams. At U16 level he played in a friendly against Colombia and took part in the UEFA Development Tournament in Łomża in 2019. In 2024 he won two caps for the U21 side.
