Slobodan Urošević

Slobodan Urošević captained the Serbia national team in friendlies against the Dominican Republic and Panama in January 2021, having first been capped against Qatar in September 2016. That international record sits alongside a longer club story built mostly around Partizan, where he spent five seasons and made 139 appearances, scoring 12 goals from left-back and winning the Serbian Cup in successive seasons, 2017/18 and 2018/19.

Urošević came through the Bežanija academy before a spell at Rad and a productive stretch at Napredak Kruševac, interrupted by a loan to OH Leuven. It was the move to Partizan in 2018 that established him as a regular top-flight left-back, and his form there was recognised with a Serbian SuperLiga Player of the Week award in the 2022–23 season. At youth level he had already won a European title, lifting the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Serbia's under-19 side in 2013.

He left Partizan in 2023 for Cypriot club Aris Limassol, where he made 53 appearances and scored twice, and added a Cypriot Super Cup to his honours that year. He has since joined TSC Bačka Topola.
