About the player
Yevhenii Smyrnyi joined the Dynamo Kyiv academy at the age of seven. He made his first-team debut there, but he played only three league matches for the club. His senior career was built elsewhere, mainly at Kolos Kovalivka.
Kolos took him on loan in two spells, and across them he scored seven goals in 63 matches. That was his main stretch of regular football. In between, he had a short loan at Chornomorets Odesa in 2021. In January 2022 he signed for Zorya Luhansk on a free transfer, but he was loaned straight back to Kolos and stayed there until 2023.
In July 2023 he moved to Oleksandriya, again on a free transfer. He played 47 matches for the club and scored twice. In the 2024/25 season he won silver medals with Oleksandriya. His contract was terminated by mutual consent in March 2026.
Kudrivka announced his signing on 24 June 2026. He arrived as a central midfielder with several seasons of top-level experience behind him.
He also came through Ukraine's youth national teams at U-16, U-18, U-19 and U-21 levels. He won 24 caps and scored four goals for them. He has not yet been capped by the senior side.
