Yuriy Potimkov

Kudrivka first took Yuriy Potimkov on loan, then made the move permanent in July 2025, signing the centre-back on a free transfer from Metalist 1925. His contract now runs until 30 June 2027.

The loan season of 2024–25 produced 14 appearances and a goal. The goal came from a defender who spent most of his earlier career in and around Kharkiv.

Potimkov's youth football was played entirely in the city. He started at Metalist Kharkiv in 2014, moved to Arsenal Kharkiv for a year from 2016, and returned to Metalist in 2017. He stayed until 2019 and later captained the Metalist 1925 youth team.

His senior debut came at Avanhard Kharkiv, where he spent two seasons, from 2019 to 2021. He played 16 matches there and scored twice, an unusual return for a defender. In July 2021 he signed for Metalist 1925 and played five matches in the Ukrainian Premier League. Those appearances were spread over a spell that lasted until 2025.

Part of that time was spent away. In 2023–24 Metalist 1925 loaned him to Nyva Buzova, where he made five appearances. The following season's loan to Kudrivka led to the permanent deal.
