Dubočica

Leskovac sits in the region that supplies much of Serbia's paprika, and the club still carries the nickname Paprikari for it. The team was founded on 20 August 1923 by unionists under Kosta Stamenković, and its politics showed in the name it first carried, Radnički sportski klub Crvena zastava — Red Flag — a label that got it renamed more than once in its early years before it settled, through a 1932 merger with SK Veternica, on Dubočica.

The club's best football came in the 1970s. In 1970 it beat FK Radnički Niš 3–0 away at Čair Stadium to win the Serbian FA Cup, a result still cited in the Niš–Leskovac derby. Titles in the First Serbian League in 1974–75 and 1975–76 carried the team into the Yugoslav Second League, where a fourth-place finish in 1977–78 under Ljubiša Stefanović, who had played for the club before coaching it, remains its highest league placing.

Stanko Filipović debuted at fifteen in 1935 and captained the side for more than two decades before retiring in 1959. A match-fixing scandal in 1957–58 sent Dubočica down to the Niš Football Zone, and financial debt eventually caught up with the original club, which folded in 2014. It was rebuilt the following year as GFK Dubočica and returned to winning ways in 2022–23, taking the Serbian League East and promotion back to the Serbian First League.

The team plays at Stadion Dubočica in a red home kit, red and white being the club's colours since its unionist days.
