Maardu secured a 3-1 victory over Tallinn Kalev in the Esiliiga A regular season on 24 August 2026. The result leaves Maardu fifth in the table with 38 points, while Kalev remain sixth on 35 points after 26 games each.

Maardu took the lead through M. Jumankin in the 24th minute, though S. Tsombaljuk had equalised for the hosts 10 minutes earlier. A. Timoska saw red for Tallinn Kalev in the 28th minute, and Jumankin had a penalty saved in the 35th minute. H. Lehtmaa and E. Kouadio added for Maardu in the 63rd and 66th minutes respectively.

The result means Maardu maintain their advantage over Kalev in the standings, moving two points clear in fifth place. Kalev now face the task of closing the gap in their remaining fixtures.
