Vega Real secured a 2:1 victory over Universidad O&M in the Liga Mayor regular season on 26 August 2026. The result keeps the hosts fourth in the standings with four points from three games. Universidad O&M remain seventh with just one point after three matches.

Morales Beato opened the scoring in the third minute, giving the home side an early advantage. Leguizamon levelled shortly after in the ninth. De La Rosa then struck twice in quick succession, the first in the 23rd minute and the second in the 24th, to put Vega Real ahead for good.
