Igor Rabello

Igor Rabello's path to Fluminense's first team began at Fluminense itself: he came through the club's youth ranks before Botafogo picked him up for its academy in 2012. After a spell on loan at Náutico, where he scored twice in the Série B, he returned to Botafogo and established himself as a regular starter, helping the club win the Campeonato Carioca in 2018 and being named Best Defender in that season's Team of the Year.

That form earned him a move to Atlético Mineiro in January 2019, in a deal that also sent Gabriel the other way on loan to Botafogo. Rabello spent six years in Belo Horizonte, making more than 200 appearances: the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa do Brasil in 2021, the Supercopa do Brasil in 2022, and six consecutive Campeonato Mineiro titles. He was named Best Defender in the 2021 Mineiro Team of the Year.

In August 2025, with his contract at Atlético terminated by mutual agreement, Rabello returned to Fluminense on a free transfer, signing until December 2027. His first months back were sparse — just four appearances and six minutes on the pitch under Renato Gaúcho. Under Luis Zubeldía, he handed him starts including a Copa do Brasil tie against Vasco da Gama. A red card against Vitória in September 2025 cost him a match against his former club Botafogo through suspension, but he was back in time to help Fluminense lift the Taça Guanabara.
