Yago Pikachu

Yago Pikachu grew up in Belém and came through the youth ranks at Tuna Luso before joining Paysandu. His move to Vasco da Gama, on a free transfer in January 2016, helped the club win the Campeonato Carioca that year and, by 2021, had established himself well enough in Brazilian football to be named in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Team of the Year.

That form took him to Fortaleza in March 2021, where he won the Campeonato Cearense three years running and lifted the Copa do Nordeste twice. He was also named Best Right-back in Brazil in 2021 by the Troféu Mesa Redonda. In 2022 he took his game abroad, joining Shimizu S-Pulse in Japan for a fee in the region of US$800,000, before Fortaleza brought him back on loan in January 2023 and later made the move permanent for around US$1.2 million.

He finished out his second spell at Fortaleza with another Copa do Nordeste title in 2024, sharing the tournament's top scorer honours that year, before his contract expired at the end of 2025. He has since signed with Remo on a free transfer for a two-year deal.
