Hamuliakovo

The Zimný štadión Hamuliakovo went up in 2010, and the club followed the same year.

Hamikovo, as it is known, spent its first seasons finding its level in the 2. hokejová liga, the third tier of Slovak hockey, placing fifth in 2012/13 and seventh the following year before settling lower down the table in the years after. There were no titles to chase, and none came.

The turn came in August 2024, when the club picked up the league licence of Slovan Bratislava's dissolved reserve side, Modré krídla Slovan, and with it a route into the second-tier Tipos SHL. The league's stadium requirements meant the first team could not stay in Hamuliakovo: it shifted its home matches to Bratislava's Zimný štadión Vladimíra Dzurillu and took a new name, HC TEBS Bratislava. What remains in the village is the original amateur club, still playing under yellow and black in the lower leagues.

That system has produced its own names. Martin Rudolf Liška, a forward born in 2006, moved on through HK Nitra and Bílí Tygři Liberec's under-20 side; defenceman Tomáš Šlank, born the same year, went on to play for Slovakia's under-18 team. Neither stayed, but both came up through Hamikovo first.

The rink itself keeps to the standard Slovak ice surface, 56 by 26 metres, built for a village team that has since split itself in two.
