Jihlava U20

Six Czechoslovak championships in a row between 1967 and 1972. The senior club won those titles as an army team, and the run eventually stretched to twelve league crowns, the last of them arriving in 1991.

The nickname Vojáci, "The Soldiers," dates from that era and has stayed even as the barracks link faded; crimson and gold remain the club's colours. The senior side itself was founded in 1956 in Olomouc, as ASD Dukla Olomouc, before relocating to Jihlava the following year.

The U20 side plays in the Junior Extraliga and the European Junior League under the same crest, though its own honours list stays empty; a quarter-final has been as far as recent squads have reached, in seasons such as 2016–17 and 2023–24. What the academy has produced instead is goaltenders — David Rittich came through the same net before moving on to the NHL.

Matches against SK Horácká Slavia Třebíč are still called the Horácké derby, a fixture that predates most of the current squad. The juniors play in Jihlava, at the Horácká aréna, a 5,750-seat arena that replaced the old winter stadium after it was pulled down.
