Kladno U20

Six Czechoslovak titles came in a stretch of two decades, the last of them in the 1979–80 season. The junior side carries the family name into a different competition, the Czech Junior Extraliga, and has one championship of its own to show for it, taken in the 2005–06 season.

What the U20 side is actually judged on is who comes through it. Jaromír Jágr passed through the Kladno academy on his way to the NHL, sending Tomáš Plekanec, Jakub Voráček and Radko Gudas into professional careers elsewhere.

Both sides, junior and senior, play out of ČEZ Stadion in Kladno.

The fixture that still matters most is against HC Sparta Prague, the Central Bohemian derby, one that follows the club's age groups down to junior level.
