North Wings Usti nad Labem

North Wings Ústí nad Labem exists because the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně wanted a team of its own on the ice, and in 2020 that became UJEP North Wings Ústí nad Labem.

Since then the season has followed a familiar shape: a run to the quarter-finals, then an exit there. No league title has come with any of it.

The names attached to those better years tell the story better than the table does. Adam Janoušek scored 31 goals in 45 games to become the club's all-time leading marker and topped the league's scoring chart in 2023/2024. Matěj Harkabus never played long enough to challenge the career totals, but across 18 games in 2022/2023 he produced 36 points. Hanus Petržílka, the side's most capped player and former captain, moved on afterwards to Slovan Ústečtí Lvi, the professional club that shares the city, and he was not the only one to make that step up from the university side.

Games are played at the Zimní stadion Ústí nad Labem, in yellow and blue, in front of a rink that holds 6,500.
