Engineers Prague

Hvězda Ice Stadium seats around 700, so when Engineers Prague need room for a real occasion they leave it behind. In 2023 the fixture drew 8,854 spectators, a record for the Univerzitní liga ledního hokeje.

The club started in 2015 as Technika Praha, a shared side for students from three Prague schools: the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), the University of Economics and the Czech University of Life Sciences. The name changed to Engineers Prague in 2017, and in 2023 the club narrowed to ČVUT alone, becoming ČVUT Engineers Prague and dropping the other two universities' students from its roster. Locally the team is still known simply as the Engineers.

Between 2015 and 2019 they played in the European University Hockey League under their earlier names, finishing fourth in 2018/2019 at best, then took a silver medal at the World University Cup in Beijing that April. Domestically, the league title came in 2019/2020, though the season ended without a playoff after the pandemic forced its cancellation. They topped the regular season again in 2022/2023, and were runners-up once more in 2025/2026.

The colours are navy blue, white and orange.
