Sigal Prishtina

The club took shape in 1970, but its record was built and rebuilt in pieces: a financial collapse forced a refoundation in 2004, and a second crisis brought another re-establishment in 2011. Between and around those resets, it became the most decorated side in Kosovo basketball — fourteen Superleague titles and fifteen Kosovo Cups, spread from 1991 to 2019. The Sigal name attached to Prishtina is not a rebrand but a sponsorship, from the insurer of the same name, that stuck long enough to become how the club is known.

Home games are played at the Palace of Youth and Sports, in the smaller hall of a complex whose larger arena once held around 8,000; a fire in 2000 gutted that space, and it was never rebuilt to its old size, leaving the club with a ground closer to 2,800 seats.

Regionally, the Balkan International Basketball League has been won three times, most recently in 2023–24.
