«Ski Elite»
In 1919 the parent sports club, Ski Idrettslag, was founded. Hockey itself had been part of the parent club's programme since 1958, when members voted to add it at that year's annual meeting.
No player is remembered the way Morten Elverud is. Between 1991 and 2005 he scored 500 points in 294 games, and after hanging up his skates he went on to coach Grüner in the GET-ligaen.
The club has never reached the GET-ligaen or won the Norwegian Cup, but the 2022–2023 season brought a 3. Divisjon title and promotion. A year in the 1. Divisjon followed, then relegation back to the 2. Divisjon for 2024/2025, before Ski earned its way back up to the 1. Divisjon for 2025/2026.
The fixture that matters most is against Comet Halden.
